In a few words...

We believe people should be proactive in solving the problems of the community they belong, to find solutions to primarily questions facing society and propose policies and strategies aimed to improve the standard of personal life and society in general.

Founded in 2003, SMART Development Center is a nonprofit association nonpolitical and nonpartisan. We started working in the same year, through involvement in various youth projects.

Our objectives:
- Developing and providing public institutions Partnerships for projects of European interest, locally or regionally in the field of social integration.
- Developing informational social centers and public institutions Partnerships.
- Developing partnerships with state authorities and/or other NGOs
- Organizing seminars, lectures, roundtables and conferences at local, national or international level.
- Equipping and sustaining the social centers.
- Promotion of modern information processing technology (IT) and the finding of means to raise local information, studies, modules and courses in this topic.
- Promoting exchanges of experience and know-how between youth from different regions.
- Partnerships with other foundations, associations or individuals who support initiatives to develop projects with EU impact.
- Supporting initiatives in environmental protection.
- Promoting local community interests.
- Providing support in developing sustainable development strategies.
- Editing and translation of specific studies.
