Youth in Action
Youth in Action is the Community Program to implement the legal framework to support non-formal learning activities for young people. On from the Youth will be implemented during 2007 2013 with a total budget of 885 million euros. For Romania is a budget of approximately 3 million per year.
Program Objectives:
- To promote active citizenship among young people in general and European citizenship in particular
- To develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular to contribute to the social cohesion in the European Union
- To support mutual understanding between young people from different countries
- To help improve the quality of support systems for youth activities and capacity of youth organizations of civil society
- To promote European cooperation on youth
